Crystal
Crystal can most easily be described as very fine quality glass and should not be confused with gemstones or quartz, which may also be called "crystal" but are not glass. How does crystal differ from ordinary glass? Glass is composed of a mixture of sand, soda, and lime, which is melted together at high temperatures.
