Dichroic Glass
Dichroic glass was originally developed as an optical color filtering process - used in computers and camera filters. "Dichroic" means "two chromas"- thus this incredible glass will transmit one color and reflect another, while often causing subtle shifts of color in between. It is then fused in a glass kiln, sometimes several times, until the right look is achieved. The end result of this fusion can create jewelry with vibrant clarity.
