Annie Morhauser fell in love with the beauty of glass the first time she saw it being created.
Annie graduated from the California College of the Arts with training in a range of glass techniques, but it was her own process developed in the 1980s that marked the beginning of Annieglass.
Annie Glass takes its shape in a fiery kiln where a sheet of flat glass is melted over a ceramic mold in a process called "slumping”. At 1350 degrees F, precious metal and color fuse permanently to glass making the work tarnish and chip resistant, as well as dishwasher safe.
