About This Item
Modernity and nature combine in the design of our Fim Bookends. Striking variations of color differentiate the stones of these bookends; the organic design of their bases was inspired by the natural patterns in the rock. The gems are natural outgrowths from the inside of ancient lava streams, with traces of crystal, agate and amethyst. Fim means ?End? in Portuguese. RabLabs' Fim bookends are therefore, the ideal way to end your row of treasured books.
Designer Anna Rabinowicz launched her first home collection for RabLabs in 2002, creating home objects inspired by nature which fuse ancient, precious materials with cutting-edge design. She uses a luxurious palette of materials, layering semi-precious gems including agate and crystal with the finishing touches of pure gold and sterling silver.
Working with skilled artisans in the United States and Brazil, her handcrafted designs provide a much needed natural component to both modern and traditional interiors.
