The Waterford Crystal story began blossoming in 1783 when two brothers, George and William Penrose, founded their crystal manufacturing business in the busy port of Waterford, Ireland. These important developers and exporters began the tradition of excellence of excellence in Waterford Crystal.
The company still has strong links with its roots, though it has expanded to include Waterford china, collectibles, and other items. Waterford crystal retains the same dedication to the purity of color, design inspiration and to the pursuit of the highest possible level of quality.
