Samuel Kirk, a Philadelphia trained silversmith, recreated the ancient art of "repousse" in the 1800's. Repousse: the pattern design is created by pushing from the inside out. Each piece of this distinctive floral design is a work of art. This pattern was first created in 1828. Dishwasher safe with care.
