Casual Dinnerware

When you are registering for your everyday dinnerware, 8-10 place settings will do. A place setting in casual dinnerware will include; a dinner plate, salad plate, soup or cereal bowl and a mug or cup & saucer set. Think about what you eat most often. If you are always serving pasta or salad in bowls, you may want to register for a few extra bowls so that you aren't constantly running out. Or if you never drink coffee or tea, it's probably safe to skip registering for mugs, or only register for a few pieces.

Make sure to choose dinnerware that you truly love and that can withstand daily use. The pieces you select will likely be household items that you look at, use and reuse every single day. Register for a pattern that you are sure you will love for a long time.
