Puiforcat Noailles Sterling Silver Dessert Spoon

Puiforcat Noailles Sterling Silver Dessert Spoon

$500

The Parisian silversmith Puiforcat is regarded as one of the legendary names in European silver craftsmanship. This sterling silver reproduction is based on a model from Augsburg, Bavaria, a city once known for its silverwork. Behind its apparent simplicity lies a highly refined design, as evidenced by the delicate curve of the handle that is outlined in a fine thread and by the elegant flame-shaped button on the bowl and tine.

Product Description

The Parisian silversmith Puiforcat is regarded as one of the legendary names in European silver craftsmanship. This family cutler, founded in Paris in 1820 by Emile Puiforcat and his two cousins, owes most of its renown to Jean Puiforcat, from the fourth generation of the family, who was to write the most beautiful pages of its history almost a century later, and would establish the company in the avant-garde of modern silverwork.
